Physical and mental wellbeing

We believe activities are an essential part of care to maintain the physical & mental well-being of our residents. Our dedicated activities coordinator arranges the following activities for residents:

Care Home Activities Overview


  • Flower arranging (Tuesday)
  • Sewing (Wednesday)
  • Games ( Jenga/Skittles/Dominoes etc) (Thursday)
  • Therapeutic pat dog visit (Thursday)
  • Baking (Friday)


  • Visiting Chair Aerobics
  • Visiting Singing and Organ Playing/lesson
  • Visiting Church

Care Home Activities - Woodway House

Spend the morning flower arranging with fresh flowers in the dining room.
A choice between either Group Cooking, Crafts or Painting.
Group Games of Dominoes, Crib, Puzzles, Hangman and other games from your era – All played in the Dining room.
Group Cooking: Be involved in preparing the evening meals or Baking cakes & Biscuits.
Games morning: Come and join us for fun & laughter with activities such as Skittles, Basketball and Chair Football.
Movies! Come and watch a film from your era.
